Ben duPont, Yet2 Ventures, Chairman
Ben is Managing Director and co-Founder of yet2Ventures and Fairbridge Venture Partners, both early stage open innovation based venture capital funds. Ben co-founded yet2.com in 1999, with strategic investment from; Siemens, Bayer, Caterpillar, P&G, Honeywell, DuPont and NTT. Yet2.com has offices in Tokyo, Boston, Liverpool, and Wilmington, Delaware. Yet2.com is the world’s largest Open Innovation platform and has strategic relationships with the world’s largest technology companies.
Through Yet2Ventures, Ben has leveraged his experience to invest in over 40 technology venture-backed start-ups, creating a network of hundreds of entrepreneurs whom Yet2 has advised and guided to successful outcomes.
Ben has a BSME from Tufts University. He spent 13 years in various divisions of the DuPont. Ben is currently a director of; Morgan Stanley Capital International (NYSE:MSCI), ACube, Longwood Gardens, Bessemer Trust Delaware and a board observer at Ecrio. Christopher Sellers, MoBeam inc.
Christopher is Chief Executive Officer of mobeam inc. Previously, as CEO of Agentrics, Mr. Sellers led the world’s leading retailers in business innovation; global sourcing/procurement; logistics; supply chain; and product lifecycle management and development. Prior to Agentrics, Mr. Sellers held leadership positions at EDS, Syncra and Accenture, as well as serving as CEO for Information Resources, Inc (IRIc) United Kingdom.
Voytek Siewierski, Mitsui & Co.
Before joining MCVP Voytek was an Executive Director at NTT DoCoMo including 6 years in Japan and 3 years in the UK, where he coordinated DoCoMo’s international technology partnerships. His previous experience includes consulting and technology research in the United States and Europe. He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Oxford, teaching telecommunications and a judge in several technology awards programs, including Tech Pioneers of the World Economic Forum in Davos and Mobile Innovation Awards of the GSM Association. Voytek holds M.A.L.D from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts University/Harvard), with Graduate courses in IT and International Marketing at the Harvard Business School.
Michel Wendell, Nexit Ventures
Mr. Wendell is a founding partner of Nexit Ventures, a fund focused on mobile internet opportunities. Nexit has raised EUR 100 million to invest primarily in Scandinavian and U.S.-based early stage companies, leveraging Nexit’s presence in the ‘wireless Mecca’ and Silicon Valley. Mr. Wendell has 20 years of broad experience in international building and scaling of Infocom businesses, including high tech operations in Finland, Sweden, France and the U.S. His responsibilities have included executive positions within sales, marketing and business development for companies like Mentor Graphics, OrCAD and Cadence Design Systems. Mr. Wendell also has been involved with several technology companies as an angel investor, Board Director or adviser.
